Introducing Dr. Kevan Patel: An experienced Podiatrist and Sports Medicine Enthusiast

We are delighted to introduce our newest addition to Yeargain Foot & Ankle, Dr. Kevan Patel, a skilled and compassionate Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) hailing from Austin, Texas. Dr. Patel's journey to becoming a podiatrist was fueled by his love for sports and a genuine desire to help athletes perform at their best.

Education and Background:

Dr. Patel's academic journey began at the University of Texas at Austin, following in the footsteps of his parents. After completing his undergraduate studies, he pursued his passion for podiatry at the prestigious Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine in Phoenix. He completed three years surgical residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston, Texas with training in forefoot and rearfoot surgery. Growing up playing various sports, including football, basketball, soccer, tennis, and golf, Dr. Patel developed a deep appreciation for the importance of foot health in maintaining an active lifestyle.

Passion for Sports Medicine and Holistic Care:

Upon completing his education, Dr. Patel honed his skills during a rigorous three-year residency in Houston. His dedication to sports medicine and his passion for continuous learning in podiatry have led him to explore various aspects of foot and ankle care, from primary care to regenerative medicine and nutrition. Dr. Patel firmly believes in taking a holistic approach to patient care, considering all aspects of their well-being to provide the best possible treatment.

Joining Yeargain Foot & Ankle:

Dr. Patel was drawn to Yeargain Foot & Ankle due to its reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-oriented care. Like his colleagues, Dr. Yeargain and Dr. Agyen, Dr. Patel views his patients as part of his extended family. His ultimate goal is to help patients return to their passions, enabling them to achieve their goals with the least disruption possible. Dr. Patel is committed to conservative treatment approaches, avoiding unnecessary procedures or surgeries whenever possible.

Personal Interests:

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Patel remains true to his love for sports. Whether playing golf, tennis, running, or hitting the gym, he understands the joy and benefits of an active lifestyle. A devoted fan of UT football and basketball, as well as the Dallas Cowboys, Dr. Patel enjoys cheering on his favorite teams.

In his leisure time, Dr. Patel cherishes moments spent with his family and friends. He also loves to travel, exploring new places whenever the opportunity arises. As a self-proclaimed foodie, he finds joy in trying out new restaurants and cocktail bars in the vibrant city of Dallas.
